In the position as Procurement Coordinator you will be involved and managing a wide range of procurement tasks for the AO Foundation, including managing suppliers, conducting purchasing activities and performing procurement reporting and analysis. The role is in the newly created Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team requiring close collaboration within the team, category purchasers across the organization, and other relevant stakeholders.

 

In this role you will be required to

Category and Supplier Management:

  • Support supplier management and tendering activities
  • Manage relationships with business and suppliers

 

Operational Procurement:

  • Manage and coordinate procurement processes within AO
  • Train and support internal stakeholders and employees
  • Oversee and processe purchase requests and orders as well as invoices
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and system administrator for the Procurement systems maintenance

 

Analytics and Continuous Improvement:

  • Support procurement reporting, analyses and insights on key suppliers, purchasing activities and volumes
  • Oversee company paid credit card spending
  • Ensure procurement best practices and policy compliance
  • Share know-how and support developing procurement team members

To master this challenge, you have

  • A BSc in Business Administration, Economics, or another relevant education 
  • Proven experience/expertise in either procurement, supply chain/logistics management systems, quantification/analytics
  • Proven track record in operating in a global business environment
  • The ability to organize and complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and organizing workload while remaining aware of changing priorities and competing deadlines
  • To demonstrate the ability to quickly shift from one task to another to meet multiple support needs
  • Experience in establishing, building and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and clients to facilitate the provision of support
  • Expertise in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (preferably SAP ByD)
  • A  fluent written and verbal English, German is preferred, other languages are a plus
