To master this challenge you have
- University or similar degree preferably (Masters or PhD in a relevant life sciences discipline)
- Understanding of ICH-GCP
- Experience in managing research and have basic medical knowledge
- Three years of practical experience with project management
- Event planning and management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Very good time management and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and reliability, ability to work both independently and in a team
- Good financial acumen (budgeting and forecasting)
- Flexibility and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20 percent
In this role you will be required to
- manage and support the research activities of international study groups comprising global key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical investigators
- act as the primary contact for all study group activities
- build relationships with KOLs and manage their membership structure and performance
- accountable for the performance and relevant KPIs of the research projects, activities, and members
- involved in the planning, development, and execution of clinical multicenter studies in the field of spine surgery, including protocol writing, database setup, monitoring, basic statistical analysis, and publishing of results
- support the development of clinical practice guidelines, classifications, and core outcome sets, as required
- follow standardized processes of project approval, project monitoring, and reporting
- coordinate and supervise parts of, or entire, clinical research projects in collaboration with internal and external service providers, depending on the scale of the project
- assist with the development of research grant applications
- assist with disseminating and translating research results and outputs
