Short Description
As an Application Engineer the position holder is responsible for the execution and implementation of various applications in the overall application stack within the organization, acting as a member of the IT Application Management team in AO IT.
Application Engineer with specialist competence within the Salesforce application is in charge of consulting on, implementing, testing and training/documentation material for these and more applications in surrounding areas.
Being an Application Engineer implies utilizing all knowledge present in the team, to take over responsibility for minor projects within the team and to contribute in keeping up quality and productivity as a professional team member.
Main Responsibilities
- The continued success of the built Event management and membership solution built on the Salesforce platform
- Trouble shooting Salesforce 2nd level support / collaboration with relevant partner in partner network
- Salesforce administrator/support lead
- Coordination with partner regarding development of the overall Salesforce platform both in project and operations mode
- Correcting application malfunctions and errors
- Overseeing and supporting a total system landscape of 110+ applications including suggested further development and contact with the business stakeholders
Main Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering / business / systems development or equivalent degree
- Additional professional certifications are considered a valuable asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience within application project management / development or consultancy
- Experience within application build, development or implementation is a plus
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Fast understanding of complex business processes
- Fluency in English. German will be considered as a plus
