Job Responsibilities

As Project Manager Community & Core Group Development with focus on our digital community, you will play a key role in managing the development and implementation of the myAO app dedicated to build and retain AO’s digital community. You will be responsible for the yearly planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of myAO project and for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors, to achieve project objectives.

 

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, resources required, budget, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder communication and coordination: Act as the main point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of project progress, changes, and issues. Lead and manage the external project team, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Governance: Organize and prepare Steering Committee Meetings including agenda, minutes-taking, action-point follow-up, meeting logistics.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budget, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against milestones and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper documentation and communication of impact.
  • Problem Solving: Address project issues and conflicts in a timely manner, seeking resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project reviews to assess lessons learned, identify areas for improvement, and enhance future project performance.

Job Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in relevant field (Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Medical Education or equivalent)
  • Proven record of professional experience in application development and maintenance or project management or similar field (2-3 years)
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders on all levels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good understanding of mobile app development processes and Agile software development methodology.
  • Good teaching and facilitation skills (should be able to act as teacher on all levels of the different programs).
  • Good organizational skills and attention to details. 
  • Comfortable with data analysis and able to produce reports for various communication purposes.
