In this role you are required to:
- Manage the development and further enhancements of value adding programs for our communities (e.g. membership, fellowship, mentorship, pathways) in line with set objectives, by closely collaborating with the Manager Community and Core Group Dev, Community Development Commissions & Managers, and other internal stakeholders
- Define, develop and implement value adding member acquisition and retention concepts and supporting assets for AO's key touch-points (courses, congresses, websites), including conceptualization, development, asset creation, communication plans, evaluation, refinements
- Analyze member statistics and provide relevant reports to management and governance levels including suggested measures
- Support community development commission managers: planning and execution of meetings, minutes and follow up of action items (excluding F2F logistics)
- Have budget responsibility for assigned projects
- Communicate with surgeons and senior management, and collaborate with Marketing and regional teams
- On request: provide onsite support at major key events and congresses
- Implementation of Community and Core Group Development programs and activities
To master this challenge you have:
- BSc or MSc in relevant field (Business, Marketing, Event Management, or similar)
- Proven record of professional experience in event management or project management or similar field (2-3 years)
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders on all levels
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to prioritize work plans and handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and sudden changes
- Reliable, proactive and problem-solving attitude with excellent organizational skills
- Passionate about continuous improvement, entrepreneurial and creative mindset to further develop the different communities
- Social media management experience
- Empathy and ability to interact with HCP on all levels
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of additional languages would be an asset
