Short Description

 

The Finance Support & Operations Specialist is promoting Finance excellence across the organization and driving Finance user experience via proactive sharing of relevant know-how and best practices. The job holder will provide guidance and trainings to Finance customers across AO organization. The responsibilities further include driving Finance projects and initiatives to ensure continuous improvements and management of the Finance support portal and knowledge management tool.

This role is open to different seniority levels, so we are keen to consider more junior as well senior profiles. Main responsibilities and requirements therefore vary depending on the seniority level.

Main Responsibilities

 

Finance Support & Enablement

  • Promoting Finance excellence by active customer support and knowledge sharing related to Finance processes, day-to-day operations and system
  • Reporting and planning end-user enablement and self-service guidance
  • Coordination, development and running of training to Finance customers on planning, reporting, systems and other relevant Finance topics (incl. planning and compiling materials for the training)

 

Finance Support Portal Tool & Knowledge Management

  • Responsibility for developing, managing and overseeing the Finance support portal/ ticketing tool and any open incidents (in collaboration with the Finance & HR Systems team)
  • Content creation, maintenance and development of Finance knowledge management incl. development of relevant material, Q&A, etc.
  • Running analysis of the use of the support portal/ticketing tool and the finance knowledge tool/Wiki
  • Act as a bridge between the Finance Systems team, Finance Business Partnering and End users
  • Support with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordination of finance system updates or new feature rollouts as well as providing feedback and insights to improve systems, training materials, and user experience
  • General support for the Finance Business Partnering Team
  • Scope may be expanded at a later stage depending on evolving needs

Main Requirements

 

Educational requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Finance, Business administration or similar
  • Other higher professional education certification (e.g. eidg. Fachausweis, Höhere Fachprüfung, or equivalent) 

 

Job experience

  • Experienced in Finance operations and/or Finance business partnering

  • Excellent digital workplace skills: expertise in MS Office and other IT systems (ERP, EPM and integrated solutions; preferably familiar with ticketing and collaboration and documentation tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Fluent written and verbal English, German is highly preferred, other languages are a plus
