Department Description

As a member of the Application engineering Team in our IT department (based in Davos, Zizers and Dübendorf), you will provide comprehensive application support for all IT systems related to community development and event management, which are centered around the Salesforce platform, to all our business teams organizing the world-wide educational events for surgeons and the various governance meetings within the AO Foundation.

In this role, you will be required to

  • Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce, as well as other applications, systems and processes
  • Collaborate in projects with our preferred suppliers and internal customers
  • Handle administrative functions including user account
  • Plan, realize, test and implement Salesforce extensions together with external partners
  • Release- and Change-Management
  • Run quality management of the solution and system
  • Support of the testing processes in collaboration with our dedicated tester team
  • Monitoring of the system
  • Support our business stakeholders on 2nd level issues and coordination to 3rd level support

To master this challenge, you have

  • Ideally a higher education in information technology (or apprenticeship in IT)
  • Tech Skills: essential IT skills, Windows/Linux Server, Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Salesforce implementation (design, configuration, deployment), or a Salesforce Administrator certification are an advantage
  • Advantageously experience and certifications/accreditation for other systems
  • Agile mindset and in-depth knowledge of IT standards, architectures, methods, and practices
  • Creative, supportive and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and business analysis skills; detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • The willingness to actively shape the digital transformation and are open-minded towards new technologies
  • Profound knowledge in MS Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
