In this role you will be required to
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional strategy for event delivery which is in line with the global strategy
- Manage the regional Education Events & Relations team, monitor team activities and progresses, identify / escalate issues, develop solutions - Facilitate smooth and seamless collaboration of the entire delivery team in the region
- Ensure the appropriate implementation of the operating model in the region adhering to the standard processes such as the Global Education Process
- Monitor and manage regional budget and adhere to financial targets
- Contribute to develop global solutions for the key event delivery systems to foster improvements in the region and ensure efficient use within the delivery team and the whole organization
- Manage regional key stakeholders such as surgeons acting as course chairs and on boards
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the region
- Annual budget planning for the events in the region as part of AOs yearly budgeting cycle
- Close collaboration with regional partners in order to foster smooth operations in the region
- Plan of educational activities in the region based on the standard process (Annual Needs Assessment)

Clinical Specialty Management
- Orchestrating the Regional Board of one or more clinical specialties and country councils ensuring that the educational event planning process runs efficiently to create accurate results in line with the strategic

To master this challenge, you have
Educational requirements
- University Master or bachelor's degree in business, science, medicine or similar
Job experience
- At least 10 years professional experience managing KOL
- Minimum 7 years of people management experience or relevant leadership experience
- Proven experience in driving positive social impact through targeted and effective network development
- Experience in medical events/course organization would be an advantage

Language skills
- Fluent written and verbal English, other regional relevant languages are a plus
