Short Description
AO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager Analytics to lead data-driven decision-making for its digital community platform. The Project Manager Analytics will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting platform data to provide actionable insights into user behaviour, feature usage, and overall platform performance. The role requires close collaboration with the Head of Digital Platform Operations to ensure that the platform evolves based on data-driven insights, delivering an exceptional user experience and meeting strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze user behaviour, engagement patterns, and platform usage data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide actionable insights to optimize user retention, engagement, and satisfaction
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track platform health and success metrics
Reporting and Visualization:
- Prepare regular reports and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to the Head of Digital Platform Operations and other stakeholders
- Create ad-hoc analysis and presentations to support specific platform initiatives and decision-making processes
Collaboration and Strategy Alignment:
- Work closely with the Head of Digital Platform Operations to align analytics efforts with strategic goals and platform development priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to provide data-driven recommendations for feature enhancements and new initiatives
User Behaviour Research:
- Conduct deep dives into user journeys to understand behaviours, preferences, and barriers to engagement
- Segment users to identify target audiences and tailor platform features to their needs
Predictive and Advanced Analytics:
- Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning models (if applicable) to forecast user behaviour and recommend proactive strategies
- Provide insights into potential user trends and anticipate future needs of the community
Platform Testing and Optimization:
- Collaborate on A/B testing and experiments to validate feature changes and design adaptations
- Continuously iterate on data collection and analysis processes to improve accuracy and relevance
Data Governance and Tools:
- Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR)
- Select, implement, and manage analytics tools and platforms as needed to support data collection and analysis
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in analytics, with a focus on digital platforms, user behavior analysis, or community management
- Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive data-informed decisions
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
- Experience with A/B testing tools and techniques
- Knowledge of predictive modelling and machine learning concepts is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
