Senior Project Manager Medical Writing

The AO Innovation Translation Center (AO ITC) streamlines and drives innovation projects. Its activities include the development of clinical solutions with our industrial partner, innovation gathering, proof-of-concept studies, strategic investment in intellectual property, technology, or companies, and evidence creation through clinical research.

As part of the AO ITC, Clinical Operations is the AO’s service provider for clinical research. Our clinical research specialists deliver clinical insights that are highly relevant to current surgical practice and enable better patient care by planning and conducting global clinical trials.

Hauptaufgaben und KPIs I

Team Management

  • Team resource planning to ensure a reasonable balance of workload and timely delivery of results
  • Assignment of medical writers to new projects
  • Team management via regular team meeting to address general issues concerning the medical writing team
  • Communication with the superior about the status of the team
  • Assist in optimizing quality standards and SOPs

Project Management

  • Budge and resource planning for medical writing projects and oversee their development
  • Communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth relationship and smooth running of projects

Marketing and Communication

  • Support the marketing and communication needs for AO ITC Clinical Evidence
  • Liaise with the AO communication department

Medical Writing

  • Support AO ITC medical writing activities such as writing final study reports, manuscripts, and other clinical research documents.
  • Perform and support literature search
  • Provide manuscript submission support
  • Audit the final data analysis set in collaboration with internal partners
